HGNC Approved Gene Symbol: ZNF26
Cytogenetic location: 12q24.33 Genomic coordinates (GRCh38) : 12:132,986,367-133,027,102 (from NCBI)
Seite et al. (1991) mapped a member of the human zinc finger Kruppel family, ZNF26 (KOX20), to 12q24.33 by a combination of mouse-human somatic cell hybrids and in situ hybridization. Huebner et al. (1991) mapped KOX20 to 12q13-qter where KOX1 (194538) also maps.
