Phenotypes associated with the disease Lambotte syndrome (OMIM:245552):
- Microcephaly (HP:0000252): Head circumference below 2 standard deviations below the mean for age and gender. Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Strabismus (HP:0000486): A misalignment of the eyes so that the visual axes deviate from bifoveal fixation. The classification of strabismus may be based on a number of features including the relative position of the eyes, whether the deviation is latent or manifest, intermittent or constant, concomitant or otherwise and according to the age of onset and the relevance of any associated refractive error. Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Narrow mouth (HP:0000160): Distance between the commissures of the mouth more than 2 SD below the mean. Alternatively, an apparently decreased width of the oral aperture (subjective). Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Ventricular septal defect (HP:0001629): A hole between the two bottom chambers (ventricles) of the heart. The defect is centered around the most superior aspect of the ventricular septum. Evidence: TAS. (OMIM:245552)
- Telecanthus (HP:0000506): Distance between the inner canthi more than two standard deviations above the mean (objective); or, apparently increased distance between the inner canthi. Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Hypertelorism (HP:0000316): Interpupillary distance more than 2 SD above the mean (alternatively, the appearance of an increased interpupillary distance or widely spaced eyes). Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Autosomal recessive inheritance (HP:0000007): A mode of inheritance that is observed for traits related to a gene encoded on one of the autosomes (i.e., the human chromosomes 1-22) in which a trait manifests in individuals with two pathogenic alleles, either homozygotes (two copies of the same mutant allele) or compound heterozygotes (whereby each copy of a gene has a distinct mutant allele). Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Semilobar holoprosencephaly (HP:0002507): A type of holoprosencephaly in which the left and right frontal and parietal lobes are fused and the interhemispheric fissure is only present posteriorly. Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Macrotia (HP:0000400): Median longitudinal ear length greater than two standard deviations above the mean and median ear width greater than two standard deviations above the mean (objective); or, apparent increase in length and width of the pinna (subjective). Evidence: TAS. (OMIM:245552)
- Intrauterine growth retardation (HP:0001511): An abnormal restriction of fetal growth with fetal weight below the tenth percentile for gestational age. Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Preaxial foot polydactyly (HP:0001841): Duplication of all or part of the first ray. Evidence: TAS. Frequency: 20/20. (OMIM:245552)
- Convex nasal ridge (HP:0000444): Nasal ridge curving anteriorly to an imaginary line that connects the nasal root and tip. The nose appears often also prominent, and the columella low. Evidence: TAS. (OMIM:245552)
- Retrognathia (HP:0000278): An abnormality in which the mandible is mislocalised posteriorly. Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Ocular anterior segment dysgenesis (HP:0007700): Abnormal development (dysgenesis) of the anterior segment of the eye globe. These structures are mainly of mesenchymal origin. Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
- Atresia of the external auditory canal (HP:0000413): Absence or failure to form of the external auditory canal. Evidence: IEA. (OMIM:245552)
